Government advice will change, but based on the latest:

 

Practice good hand washing (soap & water are fine). Respiratory hygiene – use tissues or cover your mouth with your inner elbow when you cough or sneeze.

 

Social distancing is advisable for all.

 

This is especially important in the over 70’s, pregnant women, and any age with an underlying condition such as lung or heart disease, asthma, diabetes or suppressed immune system.

 

The entire household should isolate for 14-21 days if anyone in the house has a persistent cough (more than half a day) or fever, however mild. If you live alone, isolation should be for 7 days.

 

Many people are already being helped by neighbors and friends and know what extra services local businesses are now offering. However, if you would like the latest update or need to find out where you can ask a local volunteer to walk a dog, pick up a prescription or which local shops/pubs are delivering then you can:

Scammers are using the Covid-19 outbreak in their attempts to scare money from potential victims. Devon Communities Together have produced an informational flyer to help people identify a scam.
